 JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR Apr 10, 2010

I play acoustic guitar sitting down and do about 50 gigs a year. It seems like there is never a decent chair in the coffee houses and other venues I play in to use. They're either really uncomfortable or so rickety I think they're going to fall over at any time. I have been looking for something for a long time that is comfortable, portable, and reasonably priced. Stools just don't cut it and everything in a chair I've looked at over the years has been heavy, non collapsible, or so expensive I could practically buy another guitar with what they cost. This thing is great! At $159 it is extremely reasonable. It is also very comfortable and has a lot of adjustability and feels VERY solid. And, it folds up like a simple folding auditorium chair you'd see almost anywhere so it takes up very little space when I'm packing for a gig. It certainly would also work well for cello, violin and other players who sit while playing. I'll probably buy a second one just to have when someone sits in with me. 5 stars!!!!!

The Best Harp Chair Ever Jan 26, 2011

I bought my first Adjustrite chair about 3 years ago. There is nothing better for sitting behind a harp. I have a concert grand harp and a smaller Celtic harp. I ended up buying a second chair to use at the smaller harp so I wouldn't have to keep moving my chair back and forth between harps, and changing the height adjustment. I love that I can be low enough at the Celtic harp and it's just perfect for me at the concert grand. I also took this chair with me when I played the Celtic harp at a Renaissance Faire. I was situated on an incline, and I could adjust the back legs differently from the front so I was sitting straight on the hill. Recently I took up spinning at a spinning wheel. I searched and searched for the right chair -- one that would make me low enough at the wheel to be comfortable for long periods of time. And then it dawned on me....the Adjustrite musician's chair!! So I just bought my third one. I can fold it up when I am not spinning and just tuck it away. It's just so nice to take with me when I am playing the harps out somewhere and know that I will not have to fiddle around with different chairs and deal with height adjustments or chairs of the wrong height to play the harp. I love this little folding chair.

Easily adjustable, durable, comfortable when a level setting and attractive. I use this for my younger cello students so that they can sit correctly based on their height. Using at an angle doesn't seem completely comfortable for me or my students as we are all so used to using flat seats. Only negative is that it is kind of heavy and bulky for me to carry on gigs with my cello, black stand, and bag of music. Although if I drop my things at the door before parking its worth it for the comfort vs. a standard folding metal chair found at most sites!

I am a classical guitarist and had been searching for something to bring to recitals to factor out the "what chair am I gonna end up with" issue. If I am driving to a gig, this chair is in the car with me. It looks good on stage, being black and subtle and is very comfortable. I would have liked to have the back a bit higher, which may be the reason I don't really use it for practicing. But every time I have used it in concert I've been extremely pleased with it, highly recommended for this purpose!
