It's incredibly heavy when it arrives but it's very easy to assemble. I didn't like the page of instructions so I chucked it and just assembled it. It has an issue with one of the round balls does not fit in snugly into the pole. I had the same issue with the same item when I purchased one years ago when I lived in another state. It must be a manufacturing flaw that has not been fixed yet.

I have purchased this table for my 14-year-old daughter. It looks very well, appears quite sturdy, and took maybe 20 minutes to put together -- there are not too many parts and the instructions fit into one picture. The cushion is very pleasant to the touch and comfy. I didn't find it heavy either in the box or out. The surface is large enough to place nail polish and other accessories, makeup, and jewelery stands, yet it doesn't stand out in a room.
My only con was that the shipping cost is rather steep, but overall paying $105 for this piece (actually, two pieces)of furniture seems a reasonably good deal.

It's perfect for me, a sophomore college student. My dorm is not that big and this vanity dresser fits perfectly. Plus, It is not traditional because it has a modern design. Now, I have a place to store my accessories, hair supplies, and flat iron.

I would actually give this vanity a 3.5 star rating.
This product is very simple and elegant.
I did not like the instructions, they fit onto one page but it didn't have any steps, only a big picture of the vanity and letters that are used to identify where the parts are. The instructions also came ripped and wrinkled. Although the instructions weren't very good, it took about half an hour to 45 minutes setting this piece up because I was trying to figure out the directions and trying to get the right tools (it only comes with an alan wrench and I needed a screw driver, electric drill preferred, to set up the stool).
On the right side the little ball that attaches to the post is slanted off to the side, probably a manufacturing problem.
In terms of the stand and the seat, the stand is nice and spacious and the seat is simple and comfortable.
When I received my package there was a ripped hole in the side and the taping was not all that professional. There were many "dings" and paint chips that were on the vanity that I was not happy about, but they were mostly unnoticeable.
Overall I do enjoy my vanity, although I did have to pay a shipping cost of about $30. It took about a week for me to receive my vanity. It is the perfect size for my little room and it fits snug against the wall. I would give this product a 5 star rating if the shipping price would have been lower, if the instructions were easier to follow, and if the packaging and product were in better condition.

My husband got this for me and I love it. It is actually bigger then I thought it would be. It is very nice and hold's all of my things nice.
