We picked this piano bench because it was cheap, adjustable, it had storage and it was double the length of a standard bench. It arrived quickly and was easy to assemble (only the legs needed to be attached). There was a chip on the wood and the black paint looked like it was done with a spray can. The cushions are firm and comfortable. The hinges to the storage areas are cheap and look like they won't hold up to our children's use (abuse). The adjustment knobs squeak and rub against the bottom of the seat cushion. It performs as advertised, but it's obvious this is made very cheaply. We won't return it because our kids can abuse it and we'll get a nicer one in a few years. Just know what you're buying.

This product is excellent and well built. It is very easy to assemble (15'). The seat takes some effort to raise and lower but it is OK if you don't have to do it every day. The only little complain is the fairly strong chemical smell that is still there one week after assembly.
