 Nice bench, but cushion tears too easily May 19, 2009

The bench was what I wanted. Easy to put together and solid enough. But the cushion has torn several times in normal use by kids. Too bad.

Very comfortable to sit for hours. Free shipping and I received it a few days after I placed my order. This chair is easy to assemble. It looks great, feels extremely comfortable and the price is just right! I can't believe it. I was able to fit 20 thin to medium size song books with plenty of room! Just what I wanted a comfortable chair with room for my music books at an affordable price! It's well worth the purchase, you won't be sorry. Fantastic!!!!

The seat is comfortable, the storage space adequate and the piece does not look too bad. Very easy to assemble. For the price you can't go wrong. Bought it somewhere else (more expensive, sigh!) since Amazon did not have it for a 1+ month...

Super easy to assemble and seems to be a sturdy little bench. Love the storage space for music books. The weight limit is 240 lbs. (Looked this up on the On-Stage Stands website.)
Note: this model number (KB8902) only has a 1" foam padding on the seat, though this didn't matter to me. From the looks of it at the On-Stage Stands the newer model (KB8902-B) has the 1.5" foam. Though I doubt an extra 0.5" of foam would make a lot of difference anyway.

I have had this piano bench for less than 4 months and the laminate has visibly bubbled on the sides. The edges of the legs came a bit beat up/chipped and the bench cover does not open easily without sticking. The only positives I can add is that it was easy to assemble and relatively comfortable. Not a good buy for the money though.
